This is the car of the year 2024
The Renault Scenic has won the title of “Car of the Year 2024”. The EV received the most votes from the expert jury.
The points ranking of the 59 European specialist journalists will be announced for each country in alphabetical order. The Dutch election entry consists of three jury members: Autovisie editor-in-chief Jaco Bijlsma and De Telegraaf/Autovisie editor Peter Hilhorst as well as Frank Buma representing the ANWB.
Car of the Year 2024
The Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric received 329 points in the Car of the Year vote. The French electric car also received the most votes in the Netherlands with 26 points.
Renault Scenic or BMW 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series didn’t do badly in the points ranking either. The model received 308 points, putting it in second place in the 2024 Car of the Year vote.
The Peugeot 3008 came in third place, fourth place went to the Kia EV9 and the top 5 is completed by the Volvo EX30.
The first Chinese car ever took sixth place in the Car of the Year vote. The last place in the finalist list is occupied by the Toyota C-HR.
