Owners of a Tesla Cybertruck notice rust on the body

The Tesla Cybertruck is now sold in America. Although large numbers are not yet rolling off the assembly line, there are already complaints about the carriage. The stainless steel electric car does not seem to be rustproof.

Stainless steel can rust. After all, the term does not stand for “stainless steel”, but rather for “stainless steel”. But a golden brown Cybertruck is not what a buyer wants.

Rust on the Tesla Cybertruck

It can be read in various Tesla forums that Cybertruck owners are finding rust on the stainless steel carriage. A photo shows that small rust spots have appeared. This doesn’t necessarily mean that every Cybertruck will rust within a short period of time. In all cases, the owners managed to remove the rust using cleaning products.

It is still unclear whether the rust actually occurred on the stainless steel carriage of the Tesla Cybertruck. It could also be that metal particles have gotten onto the paint. This can happen, for example, when a train passes on a rusty track.

The future will show whether the Tesla Cybertruck’s bodywork continues to be good. To remove rust particles, a thorough cleaning of the model (with the right products) seems to be sufficient for the time being. There are also many Cybertruck owners who don’t mind the spots.
