For this strange reason, the Volvo EX30 doesn’t have a head-up display

The Volvo EX30 has no instrument cluster or head-up display. To determine your speed, you have to look to the side, at the large infotainment screen. And there is a strange reason for this.

He talked about the position of the soundbar in the EX30, which makes it impossible to also mount a head-up display.

By the way, Volvo immediately admits that the EX30 may receive a head-up display in the near future. This was a response to criticism from both the press and the public.

Three EX30 versions

The Volvo is available in three versions. The single engine costs 36,795 euros, has a range of 344 kilometers and produces 272 hp.

Above this is the Single Motor Extended Range, which has a larger battery (69 kWh instead of 51 kWh) and therefore a range of 476 kilometers.

At the top of the range is the Twin Motor Performance, which has a pretty exorbitant horsepower figure at 428 hp. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and covers 450 kilometers.

The EX30 can fast charge with a maximum of 175 kW, which in practice means that its battery will be 80 percent full again after around 26 minutes.
