Why the Abarth 600e could have had 800 hp more

The Abarth will initially be marketed as the Scorpionissima, a limited edition with a production run of 1,949 units. Why this number? Because Abarth was founded in 1949.

eCMP platform Stellantis

Both the Abarth and the Fiat are based on the well-known eCMP platform from Stellantis, which is also used in the Opel Mokka Electric and Peugeot e-2008, for example.

However, the Abarth is based on a modified variant, the Perfo eCMP platform, where the addition “Perfo” naturally stands for the word “performance”.
