Leaked: These are the prices and specifications of the BMW i5 Touring
It is no longer a secret that BMW is working on an i5 Touring. The manufacturer previously showed pictures of the electric station wagon. However, the manufacturer has not yet communicated the price and specifications. Nevertheless, they can already be read on the Internet.
A Dutch BMW dealer already has the price and specifications online. BMW Netherlands cannot yet confirm to Autovisie that the price and specifications are correct. For now we only see very good signs.
This is how much the BMW i5 Touring costs in the Netherlands
The price of the BMW i5 Touring that we read on the Dutch dealer’s website is 79,999 euros. Not an unusual price, as the sedan can be ordered from 77,575 euros. In this case it is an M Sport Edition. This means that the version is already equipped with sporty details.
Specifications
We also already know all the specifications of the i5 Touring. The entry-level model, the eDrive40 Touring, produces 340 hp and has a range of 548 kilometers with its 81.2 kWh battery. The model sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers in 6.1 seconds.
The second version is the BMW i5 M60 xDrive Touring. This has the same battery and an additional electric motor on the front axle. The total output is 601 hp. This version sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds. The top speed is 230 kilometers per hour. The range of the M60 is 498 kilometers.
Whichever option you choose. You can charge the battery pack at any time with 205 kW on the quick charger and with 22 kW on the public charging station.
Cargo space and dimensions of the BMW i5 Touring
The BMW i5 Touring is 5.06 meters long and, like the sedan, has a wheelbase of just under 3 meters. The Touring is 27 millimeters higher than the sedan.
In the trunk you will find 570 liters of luggage space, with the second row of seats flat it is 1,700 liters. This is considerable considering that the 5 Series Touring Hybrid had 430 liters of luggage space.
