An affordable electric SUV from Volkswagen is on the way
Electric cars are currently expensive, but cheaper models are on the way. Volkswagen is showing the bodyshell of a new affordable model: the ID. 2all SUVs.
As an Autovisie reader you already have the ID. 2Everyone heard it. At the beginning of this year we were able to present you a concept version of this model.
The Volkswagen ID. 2all SUVs
This ID card. 2all will be the cheapest electric car in the Volkswagen range. The brand promises a price of under 25,000 euros. That Volkswagen gets a lot more out of the ID. We saw 2 last September when the Germans pulled the curtain on a GTI concept based on the affordable electric vehicle.
The ID. 2all will also form the basis for a new fully electric and supposedly affordable SUV. Volkswagen has not yet published anything about the model’s specifications. Although something is already known about the normal ID. 2all.
This is what we know about the specifications
This model has a range of 450 kilometers and an electric motor that produces 226 hp. The electric motor only drives the front wheels. The small hatchback should be able to sprint from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in less than seven seconds.
Volkswagen has also already announced something about fast charging capability. At the DC pole you can reach speeds of up to 125 kW. This means the car will charge from 10 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.
There are currently many question marks surrounding the Volkswagen ID. 2 all SUVs. Further information about the model will be announced at launch in 2026. Want to be the first to know about all the car news? Then subscribe to our free WhatsApp channel.
