This is how much the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N costs in the Netherlands

A little over a week ago we were able to share a lot of details about the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. Now the Dutch prices have also been announced.

The Ioniq 5 N is the sporty brother of the Ioniq 5. With 650 hp and an artificial automatic transmission, this EV is more focused on driving pleasure.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N

The question remains whether this Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will actually catapult an i30 N out of an enthusiast’s garage. Although both models carry the N label, the EV is made from a different material.

In terms of performance, there is nothing to complain about with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N. The electric car produces 650 hp, which comes from two electric motors. The above ability is temporary. An output of 609 hp is permanently available.

The first electric Hyundai from the N label is also the heaviest at 2,225 kilograms, and that undoubtedly affects the driving characteristics.

The weight is primarily due to an 84 kWh battery, which enables a range of 448 kilometers according to the WLTP measuring method. Assuming you don’t want to experience the 0-to-100 sprint of 3.4 seconds. Then the battery will run out much more quickly. The acceleration only stops at 260 kilometers per hour.

How much does the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N cost in the Netherlands?

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N costs 73,995 euros in the Netherlands. This makes the Korean significantly more expensive than the Tesla Model 3 Performance (53,990 euros). With emphasis on “was” because a performance version of the new Model 3 is not yet available. Smart timing on Hyundai’s part to launch the Ioniq 5 N now.

driving pleasure

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is said to be much more focused on driving fun than the Tesla and the model has all sorts of features that are intended to increase the fun factors: Drift optimizer, Braking with your left foot and a limited slip differential on the rear axle.
