Dive into the price list: Abarth 500e – this is how much the loud EV costs
Abarth also has to switch to a plug-in car. In fact, Abarth is already a fully electric car brand in the Netherlands, as only the new Abarth 500e is in the current price lists. By looking at these price lists we get to know the electric bomb.
Abarth is already switching to fully electric drive. Not because you have to, but because the instantly available power and torque of an electric motor makes for a better driving experience. At least that’s what the brand says. The fact is, the Abarth 500e is certainly a beautiful bomb on wheels, as we discovered earlier this year. This time we take a look at the price list, look at the equipment and put it together according to your wishes.
Drive an Abarth 500e
Every Abarth 500e has a 114 kW (155 hp) electric motor with 235 Nm of torque. Abarth specifies a 0-100 sprint time of exactly seven seconds for all versions, and the top speed is 155 km/h. This means that the performance is exactly at the level of the latest petrol models. Depending on the version, the range is 242 to 265 km (WLTP).
Prices Abarth 500e
Calculations are never fun and it’s no different with Abarth. If you want to drive away from the dealer with an Abarth 500e, you have to leave at least 38,490 euros behind. The convertible version is available for 41,490 euros. If you also want the Turismo version, you pay 42,490 euros (hatchback) to 45,490 euros (convertible).
Equipments
There is a fairly extensive range of equipment: 17-inch alloy wheels, sports seats with integrated backrest, 7-inch digital instruments, 10.25-inch touchscreen with extensive infotainment and the usual package of mandatory or optional assistance and safety systems. Also nice: With an 11 kW on-board charger, charging goes smoothly as standard.
If you choose the Turismo, the Abarth 500e also comes with 18-inch rims, leather and Alcantara upholstery (including the dashboard), panoramic glass roof, heated front seats, a JBL audio system and some additional assistance systems (especially when parking ) fitted. Also standard on the Turismo is the Engine Sound Generator, a large speaker under the car that makes the Abarth 500e sound convincingly like a gasoline version.
We choose the Abarth 500e Turismo. With its larger rims and the interior partly lined with Alcantara, it looks a bit thicker and the car was already expensive.
Outdoor decoration
The standard color is white regardless of the version. However, the red stripe of previous Abarth 500 models is missing and white is boring. A different body color costs 700 euros extra. Black is beautiful and scary, but the design of the car also disappears a little. No, the Abarth 500e could do with a nice bright color. There are three options: red, light blue and tennis ball green. Let’s be crazy and choose the latter. There are no other wheel options.
Interior decoration
The black leather Alcantara upholstery is the only option, so we can do this step quickly.
Packages and individual options
As is usual these days, the choice of equipment determines almost exclusively what is on board and what is not. In other words, the Abarth 500e’s options list is very short. There are literally only two things we could possibly check: a memory function for the driver’s seat adjustment and a “mechanical memory” function for the passenger seat. Both are an option at no additional cost. So let’s just check that out.
Assemble the Abarth 500e yourself
Ultimately, assembling the Abarth 500e is very simple. You choose between hatchback or convertible, standard model or Turismo and choose a body color. The total price of our composition is 43,190 euros. A lot of money for such a small car, but then you have an Abarth with all the bells and whistles.
