Elon Musk confirms: Tesla will build a cheap electric car in Germany
More and more affordable electric cars are coming onto the market. Think of the Volvo EX30 and the Citroën ë-C3. Tesla also comes with a cheap electric vehicle. The manufacturer will build the model in Germany.

An insider confirmed to the Reuters news agency that Tesla is coming with a cheap electric car. The source states that the car will cost 25,000 euros and that the electric vehicle will be built in Germany. India and Mexico are also mentioned as production locations.
Elon Musk confirms the rumors
Musk is said to have confirmed the arrival of a new (cheap) electric car to factory employees during a visit to the German factory, the Gigafactory near Berlin.
It is still unclear when Tesla’s affordable electric car will go into production. Will the brand be fast enough to compete with the Volkswagen ID.2 and Renault 5?
