This innovative Aston Martin uses neither petrol nor electricity
Aston Martin is a special brand. The cars are stylish and generally (not all) very fast. Large engines, whether electric or not, often require high consumption. However, this Aston Martin doesn’t use anything.
At least this British vehicle doesn’t use energy that has to be produced or comes from fossil fuels. The vehicle requires you to burn calories. But that’s only a good thing for the majority of people!
Aston Martin without petrol or electricity
Aston Martin has developed an innovative bicycle in collaboration with J. Lavenrack. Aside from the copper color, the bike looks like a pretty average sports bike. However, unusual materials were used.
The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R, as the motorcycle’s full name is, is made of carbon fiber and titanium. This makes the two-wheeler super light and stable. The bike has no welds or cables that make the design less attractive. Marek Reichman, executive vice president and chief creative officer at Aston Martin, calls it: “a titanium hypercar on two wheels.” Although that’s a bit of an exaggeration. At least, unless you are Mathieu van de Poel or another cyclist.
The copper bike does not always correspond to the photos. Like a car, you can put together the two-wheeler yourself using a configurator.
Buy the bike
However, you cannot buy the bike online. If you decide to order one, you will be invited to Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, UK. Here you can work with the K.Laverack specialists and put together your dream bike. This is how you can get inspiration online.
According to the manufacturer, there are unlimited options for those who want to order a bike. This undoubtedly comes at a high price. It is not yet known how much the .1R costs. In any case, it is likely to be significantly more expensive than Porsche bikes.
