This is the actual range of the Xpeng P7 Long Range
Electric cars usually consume more than the manufacturers state. The result is less good range than you might expect. This time we are testing the range of the Xpeng P7.
The difference between the stated WLTP range and the actual range is large for some vehicles. For this reason, Autovisie tests the actual average range in practice with the air conditioning and radio on. This gives you a better idea of how far you can actually get with an electric vehicle.
The actual range of the Xpeng P7 Long Range
In practice, the fast charging charging curve appeared to be broadly the same shape as its direct competitor, the Polestar 2. However, slightly better with a time of 34 minutes (due to the larger battery) for a standard 70 percent charge.
The promised 29 minutes would most likely have been better with a charger that could deliver full power. There was a lot of activity at the charging station. The Xpeng P7 is expected to be able to charge faster than the 148 kW we saw. So nothing to complain about.
