Let’s hope Toyota puts this electric Land Cruiser into production soon

With the new Pruis, the brand has proven that Toyota can design really beautiful cars. And this fully electric Land Cruiser Se is also a real eye-catcher.

Toyota builds good, economical and reliable cars, but almost never cars that make the heart beat faster. An attractive design was apparently not a priority for the manufacturer for decades.

Toyota Prius

That seems to have changed, as not only are we eager for the new Prius with its sharp wedge shape, but we also seem to be a little in love with the Land Cruiser with its retro shape.

Land Cruiser Se

There is no historical line or wrinkle to be seen on this Land Cruiser Se. It’s ultra-modern, with sharply shaped headlights, slim lines and a rear window pillar in which we see a hint of BMW iX.

In the title of this article we hope that Toyota will put this concept car into production, but that will probably work out. An electric Land Cruiser is certainly on the way.

High torque and quiet

The only question is whether it looks as cool as the Se. All Toyota would say about the production version is that it will be extremely torquey, with a whisper-quiet interior and space for seven or eight people.

Just like the Toyota EPU, the Land Cruiser Se uses a monocoque chassis (not a separate ladder chassis). The electric SUV is 5.13 m long.
