With this brand you can still charge your electric car for free
You can charge Tesla models from the early years free of charge for life. Although Elon Musk’s brand is no longer slowing down, Rimac is. Anyone who buys a Nevera can supply their electric car with free electricity for eight years.
Unlike Tesla, Rimac does not have its own charging network, so the brand works with Ionity. Rimac owners can charge for free from the major provider of fast charging stations.
The Rimac Nevera is an extreme electric car
The fact that Rimac can give away eight years of free charging with the Nevera sounds very nice to buyers of this car. But then you have to consider that the car costs two million euros without taxes.
The extremely electric hypercar produces 1914 hp and 2360 Nm of torque and sprints from 0 to 300 kilometers per hour in around 8 seconds.
The four electric motors are powered by a 120 kWh battery pack that can be charged with 500 kW. You can see how extreme the free-charging electric car is in the video below.
We drove the car in the Rotterdam area, but of course the hypercar shows its best side on the racetrack. Even after two laps on the Nürburgring at full speed, the electric car does not overheat.
Cheaper free charger
So it’s not like you’re getting a “cheap” deal with the Rimac Nevera. If you want to save money with free charging, you may be able to buy an old Tesla as a used car. Models purchased before January 15, 2017 and delivered before April 15, 2017 can still receive free charging.
Free charging is only valid at a Tesla charging station and remains valid if you resell the car. Free charging is tied to the owner and must therefore be transferred when the electric car is sold.
