These 3 wonderful used cars will be youngtimers next year
The end of the year still seems a long way off, but it will be here in less than two months. We are looking forward with three used cars that will become youngtimers next year.
A youngtimer is at least 15 and a maximum of 25 years old. The additional tax for a classic car is 35 percent of the current value. Since the current value of classic cars (15 to 30 years old) is significantly below the list value, you pay fewer additional taxes for the cars.

Ford Focus RS
According to Autovisie Supertest of the Year, the most beautiful car of 2009 is the Ford Focus RS. This is what the editors said at the time: Ford has a long tradition when it comes to folk heroes. With the Focus RS as an extreme highlight. If you hear the five-cylinder turbo growling and blowing, you won’t be surprised that 305 hp is threatening to break out.
The violence and explosiveness of this RS are downright intimidating. You’ll have to arm-wrestle this unadulterated rally cannon before it gives in. Yes, even for experienced drivers it is a handful to keep him on the ideal line with his lock. But that is also its strength, the challenge that you really have to tackle.
It far outperforms the GTIs of the world and is quicker than the M3 on common real-world routes. But even more important than its speed potential is that it makes you feel at every meter that you are using a very special weapon. Accelerating always means opening the thrill and never without danger. We can’t thank Ford enough for creating one street legal Rally vehicle. That shows courage and we like that.

BMW M3 GTS
Number two on the list – and in the 2009 super test – is a beautiful almost youngtimer called the BMW M3. The model came onto the market in 2009 as a GTS version. This car has no back seat, no air conditioning and no audio system. This means the weight is 155kg less than the regular M3.
The model is equipped with a roll cage and fire extinguisher as standard and the V8 has been enlarged by 0.4 liters. That gives you 450 horsepower under your right foot. It is difficult to find an almost youngtimer (built in 2009). As of November 2019, only 150 had been built. The supply of used cars is therefore limited.

Renault Clio RS
Looking at the 2009 super test, we should have mentioned the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. The Renault Clio RS is in fourth place. However, since the Renault is cheaper and we can actually find a used one from 2009, we prefer that hot hatch over the C63 as a youngtimer.
The test editors at the time called the Renault the GT3 among hatchbacks. With a four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and a manual transmission, it is a real driver’s car that is not averse to tough work on the racetrack. In short, a wonderful youngtimer!
