Another news about new Chinese brands coming to Europe. This time it concerns three subsidiaries of Chery Automobile. The manufacturer who also works on Huawei’s car.

You probably don’t know Chery Automobiles yet. The manufacturer comes from China and sold more than 1.2 million cars in 2022. Already a few.

Three new Chinese car brands

Chery Automobile is one of the Chinese manufacturers who do not want to stay with their car brands in Asia. The car manufacturer will venture into Europe, reports the Reuters news agency. The manufacturer wants to conquer our continent with three brands.

Omoda, Jeacoo and Exlantix. No, these are not my new secure passwords. These are the names of the Chery automobile brands coming to Europe.

The Omoda 5 will be launched in Spain this year and will cost around 30,000 euros. You can read more about the model here. It is unclear when the brand will come to the Netherlands. Chery Automobile announces that both Omoda and Jaecco will be launched across all European brands. Exlantix will launch as a fully electric brand in early 2025.

To Europe

Chery Automobile is considering not leaving all manufacturing and assembly in China. The manufacturer states that assembly is underway on site. This would mean that a Chery automobile factory would also be built in Europe. The brand will reportedly make a decision next year on where and whether to build cars for the Chinese car brands in Europe.
