And that’s Porsche Cayenne number ten again…
That Porsche drivers don’t go completely crazy due to election stress. The updated Porsche Cayenne is already available in ten variants, of which this S E-Hybrid is the latest.
At the time of writing, you can choose between the Porsche Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid, Cayenne S, Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid models, all of which are also coupé versions.
Second cheapest model
With a starting price of 124,600 euros, the S E-Hybrid is the second cheapest model after the E-Hybrid. The coupé costs 4,400 euros more.
Porsche Cayenne powertrain
It has the same 176 hp electric motor as the E-Hybrid, but coupled to a more powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. In the E-Hybrid it produces 304 hp and in the S E-Hybrid even 353 hp.
This provides a system output of 519 hp and a maximum torque of 750 Nm. For comparison: the E-Hybrid produces no more than 470 hp and 650 Nm. Both accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 250 km/h.
Cayenne electric stove
Both plug-in hybrids can drive between 70 and 90 kilometers purely electrically. This is thanks to the fairly large battery capacity of 25.9 kWh. With the 11 kW charger on board, the battery can be fully charged in 2.5 hours.
The Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid is equipped as standard with the 20-inch light alloy wheels of the Porsche Cayenne S and Matrix LED headlights. It can also be recognized by its four tailpipes made of brushed stainless steel.
