Is the 911 S/T the most expensive, purest and lightest Porsche?
Porsche presents the new S/T in honor of the 60th anniversary of the 911. Is this the most expensive, purest and lightest Porsche? You can see it in the video.
The designation S/T indicates that the model is a combination of a GT3 Touring and a GT3 RS. The car is therefore positioned between these models.
The Porsche 911 S/T
The new Porsche 911 S/T was developed for pure car lovers and purists. For the first time, the powerful 4.0-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine with 525 hp from the GT3 RS is coupled to a manual transmission with no less than six gears.
But that’s not all. The clutch of the Porsche 911 S/T was replaced by a lightweight version. In combination with a single-mass flywheel, this ensures that the engine can turn faster. The result? A total saving of a whopping 10.5 kilograms of rotating mass.
If you shift gears quickly enough, the Porsche 911 S/T will sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 300 kilometers per hour.
The price of the driver’s car
The price for the Dutch market is 411,200 euros, which includes the exclusive Porsche Design chronograph worth 11,950 euros. Production of the 911 S/T is limited to just 1,963 examples.
