The cheapest Porsche is fully electric

As a car lover, it’s not unlikely that a Porsche is on your wish list. But for many, a car of this brand is not feasible. Why? Simply because they are too expensive. Although it might be better to buy a used car in such a case, this time we’ll focus on the cheapest new Porsche: the Taycan.

You read that right, the cheapest Porsche is not the 718 Cayman or Boxster. No, it’s the all-electric Taycan.

The cheapest Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan has a starting price of 98,600 euros. The 718 Cayman has a starting price of 102,700 euros and is therefore slightly more expensive.

For more than 98.5 grand, you can get the Taycan without “4S,” “GTS,” “Turbo,” or “Turbo S” badges. However, this does not mean that you have a slow car.

Not slow

The rear wheels of the cheapest Porsche Taycan are powered by an electric motor that produces 300 kW (408 hp). The maximum torque is 345 Nm. You only have this option if you activate Launch Control. This means you can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.1 seconds. The top speed is 230 kilometers per hour.

The electric motor in the cheapest Taycan is paired with a 79.2 kWh battery, of which 71 kWh is usable.

The cheapest Porsche Taycan can be ordered in the standard colors black or white. You don’t have to pay any extra for the 19-inch Taycan Aero wheels either. The interior is partly made of leather as standard and can be delivered free of charge in the colors beige, black or gray.

Porsche Taycan is a little more expensive

When we go to pay, it turns out that the cheapest Porsche Taycan is 63 euros more expensive than we initially thought. Why? Anti-theft wheel bolts are mandatory for this model. Then it will definitely be difficult for your aero wheels to be stolen.
