This Bürstner Kangoo is a super smart micro camper
Rooftop tents come in all shapes and sizes, but few campers are as smart as this Bürstner Habiton motorhome.
The roof tent is placed on a Renault Kangoo. The French Cargo is also equipped with a camper facility, making it a true micro camper.
A car with a roof tent or a mobile home?
We’ll start with the roof tent, because that’s the most striking thing about this model. The tent is under a hard top that is connected to the roof of the Renault Kangoo. As a result, you have no wind noise when driving and low air resistance. This is often the case with an ordinary roof tent.
The roof tent does not have to be set up with poles, but inflates itself. The air mattress is also inflated immediately, creating a place to sleep for two people.
A third sleeping place in the mobile home
A place to sleep can also be created in the Renault Kangoo itself. To do this, the front seats must be folded down.
In the rear of the Kangoo motorhome you will find a built-in kitchen module. The module consists of a cool box, sink and induction hob. You will also find storage space in the rear of the camper. You can boil dry under the Renault tailgate!
In addition, the micro camper is equipped with insect protection, window blackout, lighting and an additional battery. So the Habiton is more than a car with a roof tent.
Just a concept model
The smart micro camper is currently only a concept model. Bürstner still has to clarify whether the model will actually go into production.
Report roof tent
Autovisie also went on tour with a roof tent. This was mounted on a Suzuki Jimny and wasn’t as well equipped as the Habiton.
