Dive into the price list: the all-new Honda ZR-V
Honda expands the European model range with a completely new model: the Honda ZR-V. What kind of meat do we have in the tub? Let’s get acquainted by looking at the price list.
The Honda ZR-V was launched in North America and China in 2022. There, however, the model is called HR-V and it is the successor to the model of the same name that we are also familiar with. In fact, the previous HR-V has received two successors: a new-generation HR-V and the all-new ZR-V. Here in Europe we get both models.
The Honda ZR-V
However, the Honda ZR-V is still positioned a notch above the HR-V. For example, the ZR-V is approximately 4.5 meters long compared to the HR-V’s 4.3 meters. It’s also a bit wider and taller. While the HR-V offers a luggage space of 335 liters, the ZR-V even has 390 liters. You can read and see what the Honda ZR-V has to offer here.
Prices Honda ZR-V
The higher positioning is also reflected in the price. While the HR-V is available from 37,690 euros, the price list for the Honda ZR-V starts at 48,375 euros. This amount applies to the Elegance version. Above that are Sport (50,555 euros) and Advance (53,250 euros).
Engines Honda ZR-V
In the Netherlands, the range of engines is pretty clear: there is only one variant. This is the 2.0 Hybrid, with a four-cylinder petrol engine in the base. Together with the electrical support, it delivers a system output of 135 kW (184 hp) and a maximum torque of 315 Nm. The 100 km/h is reached in a decent 7.8 seconds. The consumption is also decent at 5.7 l/100 km (WLTP).
Equipment Honda ZR-V
The Honda ZR-V comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless entry & start, Honda Connect with navigation, adaptive cruise control and the Honda Sensing package with driving assistants. The Sport features a power driver’s seat, wireless smartphone charger, tinted rear windows and a power tailgate, among other features. The Advance completes the range with features such as adaptive headlights, a heated leather steering wheel, a panoramic glass roof and a premium Bose audio system. The Sport in particular also features slightly different bumper work, see below.
exterior decoration
This time we opt for the richly equipped Advance version. The standard color of the Honda ZR-V is white regardless of model choice, although Honda calls it Diamond Dust Pearl. A slightly softer white tone costs 950 euros extra, just like black, dark red and dark blue. We opt for the latter.
The Robust Pack (1,800 euros), the Aero Pack (2,500 euros) and the Black Pack (600 euros) are also available as visual decoration packages. The first package includes a skid plate on the underside of the front bumper, mud flaps, running boards and a tailgate trim panel. The Aero package offers notably more aerodynamic bumpers and the Black package includes black logos and door mirror caps. We don’t tick anything.
As an alternative choice of rims, Honda offers 18-inch wheels with a more distinctive design in full black (1,700 euros) or diamond cut (1,740 euros). For 2,248 euros you get 19-inch alloy wheels with an even more striking design. We stick with the standard rims.
interior design
There is no choice here: every Honda ZR-V gets a black leather interior. However, there are two light packages: entry lighting (outside), illuminated door sill panels and illuminated storage compartment between the front seats (together 1,500 euros) or illuminated door sill panels, storage compartment and lifting sill of the luggage compartment (together 1,600 euros).
Lots of options
Then some loose options remain. For example, the illuminated door sill trims (482 euros), the illuminated storage compartment (165 euros) or the illuminated Tildrempel (551 euros) can be ordered separately, as can mood lighting in the doors (332 euros). The content of the exterior decoration packages is also individually selectable if you only want a specific element of it.
In addition, there are of course practical things such as mat sets, awnings, luggage systems, child seats and the like. There are no options that increase the level of luxury on board, you determine that entirely with the choice of equipment level.
Assemble the Honda ZR-V yourself
Taking into account the few options checked, the total price of the Honda ZR-V is 54,200 euros. This is not a price packer, but the direct competitors quickly come up with such an amount as soon as you examine the possibilities. This means that the ZR-V continues to be an interesting offer for the Dutch market. Finally, the C-segment SUV segment remains popular.
