This new Peugeot e-3008 has an electric range of 700 km!
Hey, finally Stellantis comes with a different electric powertrain than the one already used in more than ten models. And it will be a good one too, if we look at the specs. Because for this new Peugeot e-3008, the group specifies a range of no less than 700 kilometers.
Stellantis has previously used an electric powertrain in the base, initially making 136hp and featuring a 50kWh battery and for some time now making 156hp and featuring a 51/54kWh battery.
Peugeot e-3008 on a completely new platform
The range varies depending on the model, but has so far fluctuated around 340 kilometers. About 400 kilometers away are the upgraded versions DS 3, Opel Mokka Electric and Peugeot e-208.
This Peugeot e-3008, still camouflaged, therefore heralds a new phase. It is not based on Stellantis’ well-known eCMP platform (which is basically a propellant platform) but uses the new STLA architecture.
Three electric versions of the e-3008
Peugeot is still keeping the exact specs of the e-3008 a secret (the car won’t be unveiled until September), but we already know that it goes much further than Stellantis’ existing EVs and can charge significantly faster.
There will be three versions of the Peugeot e-3008, including one with all-wheel drive. We wouldn’t be surprised if there was also a base version with 156 hp and a 54 kWh battery.
Sloping roofline than 3008
Because of the camouflage in these photos, the e-3008’s design is difficult to discern, but it’s clear that its roofline slopes down much more than the current 3008. We’ve already received photos of the e-3008’s dashboard. That looks good.
