You want this occasion: Maserati Bora as a daily driver?

Autovisie is always on the lookout for used cars for enthusiasts and therefore searches the listings on the Gaspedal.nl sales site. This time we found a Maserati Bora, a beautiful and rare classic.

The Maserati Bora was shown at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. Autovisie was present at the show and found the car designed by Italdesign to be “a very beautiful and realistic design”.

24 hours with the Maserati Bora

In 2016 we lived 24 hours with what was already a classic back then. “And suddenly you’re head over heels in love with the Italian beauty. But is it possible to live with such wild anger on a daily basis?”

Spicier than a Ferrari Daytona

[…] Back then it was a lot sharper than the Ferrari Daytona.”

There is less to talk about the inside of the occasion

The warm atmosphere of the 1960s, when the craft was still masterful, is hard to find.”

And then the Maserati also has a remarkable set of hydraulically adjustable pedals, which, together with the adjustable steering wheel and the driver’s seat, which can only be adjusted in height, must guarantee a perfect driving position. The Maserati Bora as an occasion

In the meantime, the Maserati Bora has increased in value exorbitantly. We found a model with 48,155 kilometers on the clock for 174,500 euros.

The classic is not just any Bora, but one of the most extreme specimens. This version is one of the first to ship in America. This means that the starter has a 4.9-liter V8 instead of a 4.7-liter V8. Later, each Bora received 4.9 liters of displacement.

The motor (matching numbers) has been completely redesigned, the paint color has been returned to the original beige, the interior was also originally beige but is now black. A childhood dream, right?
