A Skoda motorhome that would never be built is here!
In March this year, 29 students built an Enyaq iV camper in cooperation with Skoda. Nice school project or a good joke for April 1st, we thought at the time. But now the camper is really set up.
The special Skoda is aimed at digital nomads, a term for people who work anywhere with their laptop and can therefore travel. But how on earth do you turn an Enyaq into a camper and office? The SUV is big, but working and living in it…
The Skoda Enyaq iV becomes a Roadiaq motorhome
The students spent 2,000 hours converting the Skoda Enyaq iV into a camper van. They call the structure: Roadiaq.
First, the electric vehicle was raised and a window was installed above the roof. As a result, there is space for cupboards in the interior and you have significantly more headroom. Very nice if you have to work in your motorhome all day. There really isn’t much living space. But with a sofa, television, air conditioning and heating, and a sideboard, it’s comfortable to live in. The camper does not seem to be a really nice place to work. After all, your bed is also your sofa. There is no real desk.
If you do not have enough space inside, you can attach a tent to the camper. An awning can even be attached to the right door. If you also want to take a shower, this can be ordered as an extra. Just like a survival kit and a solar panel.
Not for sale
Only one example of the Skoda Rodiaq Camper will be produced. There is no concrete evidence that such a model will ever go into production.
