Fiat unexpectedly shows a new model: This is the 600e

Fiat shows itself in a new model. At least Fiat isn’t officially unveiling the 600e just yet, but the EV does make an appearance in the video above.

The 600 name was used for the Fiat between 1955 and 1969, which was also available under the brand names Seat, NSU-Fiat Jagst and Zastava. In addition, a first Multipla building was erected on the basis of this successful model. Autovisie visited Geer van den Berg some time ago. He has about 600 multipliers. The Fiat 600e

Back to 2023, because the new 600e has nothing to do with the classic Fiats. The model appears to be more of an electric equivalent of the 500X.

While the exterior is somewhat similar to the 500X, the interior is closely related to the 500e in design. With the large infotainment screen in the center and a digital clock panel, the cars are clearly connected. However, the interior of the Fiat 600e will be significantly larger.

The Fiat 600e is based on Stellantis’ E-GMP platform and is said to have the same technical specifications as, for example, the Jeep Avenger. This electric vehicle has a battery with a capacity of 54 kWh. This results in a range of around 400 kilometers according to WLTP. The electric motor on the front axle delivers 156 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Fast charging is possible with 100 kW.

Also with THP motor?

Outside the Netherlands, the Jeep Avenger is also available with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder. It is still unclear whether the Fiat 600 will also be built without the “e”. It is not unlikely that the model with the THP engine will also be available in other markets.

When is the Fiat 600e coming?
