Solly Betesh presents his powerful Audi R8 EVO II GT3

Solly Betesh, the famous and award-winning Panamanian driver, presented the car he will drive at the grand inauguration of the Autódromo Panamá, home of the Panama Grand Prix.

Today is the first date GT Challenge of the Americas 2024. The event will take place on April 20 and 21.

Bethesh will drive a Audi R8 EVO II GT3with a 5.2 or 620 horsepower v10 engine, bearing the number 44 on its sides, with which it won countless national and international races.

The presentation was held earlier this week at Audi’s headquarters in Santa Maria.

Betes was accompanied by his work team, representatives of Audi and Autódromo Panamá.

This modern car has an average speed of 275 km on the main route Panama Autodrome, it is located in Capira, descending the Campana.

Betesh’s triumphant journey began in 1985 and since then his gallery of trophies has not stopped growing, in almost 40 years of activity.

Entries for the event, meanwhile, include the Super Turismo 3, Super Turismo 4, Gran Turismo B and Gran Turismo C categories.

The track is 2.6 kilometers long, with 12 turns, 9 on the right and 3 on the left. It is built according to the highest safety standards.

It is expected that the holding of such events will promote sports tourism in Panama and the region.
