Panama Chamber of Construction (Capac) expects a visit of 15,000 people at the Capac Housing Expo, which will be held in the middle of this month.
In this activity, visitors will be able to access instant mortgage financing, said board president Paul Dávila. 10 banks are expected to participate in the square.
“Offered projects, from $45,000 to $180,000, have the advantages of the Preferential Interest Act, and expensive houses will have big promotions. To facilitate the process, we ask visitors to bring bank statements so they can apply for instant approval of their mortgage,” said Dávila.
According to the manager, the activity will haven 120 exhibitors from the sector, among them developers, real estate developers and real estate.
Dávila added that the industry has an inventory of 19,000 housing units, which corresponds to about 300 projects.
“We are carrying out this fair activity that facilitates commercial management and fulfills the main objective of the union, energizing the construction sector,” he explained.
Mortgage approvals for more than 1,200 units are expected during the four days the event will take place.
Apartments are available in the citye Panama, Panama West, East and North such as the beach, the mountains and the capitals of the main inland provinces.
The fair will be held on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and on Saturday the 20th, from 13:00 to 21:00. In the meantime, on Sunday, April 21, business hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. General admission is $2.00 and $1.00 for seniors and children.
In addition, there will be a free shuttle from the 5 de Mayo subway station to the Panama Convention Center (PCC), on Thursday from 2:30 p.m., and on Friday, April 19, it will depart from 12:30 p.m.
On Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, buses will run from 10:30 a.m.
